Distribution and marketing internship at Animate Projects.

Paid, one-day-a-week internship supporting the distribution and promotion of independent animation and short films.

Tasks include managing film festival submissions and contacts, promoting screenings and news on social media, assisting with events, desk research and project administration.

Includes mentoring and practical learning in animation distribution, marketing and project delivery.

Applicants should have an interest in independent animation or short film, confidence with spreadsheets and office software, social media experience, and strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Previous arts or animation sector experience is not required.

Animate Projects is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation that commissions, distributes and exhibits artists’ animation.

Three separate five-month placements are available between January 2027 and March 2028; applicants should state their availability.
