Georgina Henry Award 2027 at Women in Journalism.

An annual £4,000 award from Women in Journalism, sponsored by Wiggin LLP, supporting original and innovative journalism projects.

Open to women working in UK journalism in any discipline, format or career stage, with preference for applicants whose work isn't backed by a large media organisation.

Apply online with a clear outline of your proposed project (any stage of development), examples of previous work and supporting material, and explain how you'd use the prize and what difference it would make to your journalism.

Shortlisted applicants must attend the Awards, and WIJ can help with costs if that's a barrier.

The winner joins the WIJ committee as an honorary Fellow.

Applications open 1 November and close 23:59 on 29 November; no late entries.
