Sony Europe, which runs Sony's entertainment, technology and services business across Europe, is looking for an Internal Communications & CSR intern for its 2027/28 Student Placement Year programme at the European HQ in Weybridge, starting 5 July 2027.
The intern will support the Internal Comms team: creating, drafting and publishing articles for the Sony Europe intranet, including interviewing colleagues for features; updating live intranet content; drafting and sending email updates from the One Sony Europe Internal Comms mailbox; compiling the SEU Sustainability newsletter and supporting other internal newsletters; helping organise the biannual Sony Europe Webcast; supporting CSR and social contribution activities; leading and supporting internal campaigns such as the Sony Summer Challenge; helping produce videos; and raising purchase orders and general operational support.
Applicants need an obsession for writing and producing written content, excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional attention to detail, and a self-motivated, organised, inquisitive and proactive attitude.
The process is a self-service video interview, then an interview with the hiring team plus a case-study task.
Interns join the 2027 Sony placement cohort with support from HR and current interns before starting.
The Weybridge office has an onsite canteen, barista coffee shop, gym with classes, staff car park with EV charging, secure bike storage, Cycle-to-Work scheme and a station shuttle bus.
