This trainee role in the Production department supports menswear product development: sourcing and developing fabrics, yarns, prints and garments, sending tech packs, samples and development information to suppliers, following up on costings and helping build new supplier routes, maintaining product development trackers and Vision data, attending weekly progress meetings, managing the sample process and preparing samples for seasonal buy meetings, and supporting sustainable product development.
Looking for a genuine interest in fashion product development with some understanding of product, garment, fabric or supplier processes, strong organisation and attention to detail, persistence in following up with suppliers and teams, clear communication, commercial awareness around costing and margin, and eagerness to learn.
